Stardew Valley – Writers Workshop

Stardew Valley is a farming R.P.G where, after you get bored of the city life, you get the deed to your dead grandpa’s old farm house. It is in a far out country town named Pelican Town. In Stardew Valley you will start your new life meeting towns people, braving the monster filled mines, fishing, farming, and dabbling in a bit of magic. I would personally recommed this game for people who are looking for a not too intense casual gaming experience, that rewards you for just playing.

Stardew Valley is a game for anyone! Unlike other games of this genre, Stardew Valley equally combines all the skills you would want in a game like this. If you don’t like mining or combat, you can farm, transform your farm, and talk to villagers. Stardew Valley doesn’t have a time limit. you pass out after 2 AM, but you don’t have a certain amount of years to complete anything, you can play forever!

You can have children. Stardew Valley allows you to have friendships with over twenty villagers; each having there own personalities and cutscenes. You earn your friendships with villagers by giving them gifts. Eventually after getting a certain amount of friendship points with a villiger, you can date them, and eventually marry them and have kids with them.

Magical elements. Magic is an interesting thing in Stardew Valley, although it doesn’t have much in game it serves an important role in the world of Stardew Valley; serving a big plot point of the game which I won’t spoil. That’s another reason to play this game, it has so much story packed into it that you descover as you play.

The modding capibilities of this game are amazing. For people unformilliar with modding, it is where people change a game’s code to new content or features. There are always new Stardew mods coming out that change the game in amazing ways that really add to the game.

Another great aspect to Stardew Valley is the community center. The community cennter is a repairable building that unlocks on day five of Spring, year one. I love the community center because it equally makes you want to explore the different aspects of the game. You see, their are creatures called Junimo’s who get lost on there way back to there home planet and move into the community center. In the community center they leave books around that you have to put different items from all across the game in order to get the different rewards around town, and to fix the community center.

In conclusion I would play this game because it is a game for everyone, It equally balances all the skills of the game. There are so many characters to discover, and a community center with all sorts of secrets.
